Chromium (17–19%), nickel (9–12%), titanium (at least five times the carbon content), carbon (up to 0.08%), and iron make up the base of stainless steel 321 foils. These foils have an approximate elongation of 40%, a yield strength of 205 MPa, and a tensile strength of 515 MPa.
