The high carbon content allows for heat treatment, increasing strength and hardness. Stainless Steel 440C has a tensile strength of 620 MPa, yield strength of 450 MPa, and an elongation of 14%. It offers exceptional durability and is suitable for high-stress, abrasive environments.
