Stainless Steel 347H Sheets and Plates consist of iron with 17–20% chromium, 9–13% nickel, stabilized with niobium (columbium) to be resistant to carbide precipitation during welding. The “H” grade has a greater carbon composition (0.04–0.10%) compared to regular 347, which offers enhanced creep resistance and high-temperature strength. The sheets have tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and nice elongation, which can withstand high-stress and high-heat conditions. They also have good oxidation and intergranular corrosion resistance, particularly after welding or exposure to high temperatures.
