Stainless Steel 347H is a stabilized austenitic stainless steel alloy with chromium (17–20%), nickel (9–13%), and columbium (niobium), with increased carbon for increased creep resistance. Niobium addition stabilizes the material against chromium carbide precipitation. SS 347H has superior mechanical properties with high tensile strength and yield strength, good oxidation resistance, and superior performance at elevated temperatures, making it suitable for pressure-containing and structural applications in harsh environments.
