Stainless Steel 310H is a high-carbon variant of SS 310, which contains chromium (24–26%), nickel (19–22%), and higher carbon content (0.04–0.10%) to improve strength and creep resistance at high temperatures. It provides good oxidation resistance up to 1150°C, higher mechanical strength, and adequate corrosion resistance in mildly corrosive environments. Higher carbon content in SS 310H makes it useful for high-temperature, high-stress applications.
