Stainless Steel 17-7 PH is an age-hardenable martensitic stainless steel alloy with the contents of chromium (16–18%), nickel (6–7%), and small amounts of aluminum and titanium. This alloy has good corrosion resistance, high tensile strength, and fatigue properties, in addition to better stress corrosion cracking resistance. Stainless Steel 17-7 PH is capable of being heat treated for high strength and hardness with good formability and weldability.
