SA516 Grade 60 is an ASTM A516 specification carbon steel plate used for moderate- to low-temperature pressure vessel service in the form of welded vessels. Its chemical composition features carbon (≤0.21%), manganese (0.55–1.30%), phosphorus (≤0.035%), and silicon (0.13–0.45%), making it good for welding and shaping. Its mechanical properties contain minimum yield strength of 220 MPa and tensile strength from 415 to 550 MPa.
