Nimonic 80A Sheets and Plates are made from nickel-chromium-based superalloys, enhanced with titanium and aluminum. Typically, they consist of about 76% nickel, 19.5% chromium, 2.3% titanium, and 1.4% aluminum, along with small amounts of carbon, silicon, and iron. These sheets boast impressive mechanical strength, featuring a tensile strength of around 965 MPa, yield strength of 690 MPa, and an elongation of about 20%. They also maintain excellent stability and creep resistance at temperatures reaching up to 815°C. Nimonic 80A combines strength, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance, making it perfect for demanding applications in high-temperature settings.
