Nimonic 75 is a nickel-chromium alloy with very good workability, corrosion resistance, and average strength, commonly employed in high-temperature structural applications. Vipul manufactures this alloy for aerospace, nuclear, and heat treatment processes, adhering to strict quality controls and rapid turnaround times. Supplied in various sizes and custom specifications, Vipul’s Nimonic 75 plates and sheets are relied upon for their precision dimensions, fine surface finish, and uniform mechanical performance during severe operating conditions.
Nimonic 75 consists of about 80% nickel, 20% chromium, and trace amounts of titanium and carbon. It provides average tensile strength (~750 MPa) and outstanding oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 1000°C. The alloy is ductile and fabricable with good easy forming and welding. It is resistant to scaling and maintains strength in thermal cycling service. Although lacking Nimonic 80A or 90 creep strength, its corrosion resistance to hot conditions coupled with workability makes it suitable for structures and furnaces.
