Monel K500 has ~63% nickel, 27–33% copper, 2.3–3.15% aluminum, and 0.35–0.85% titanium. It can be precipitation-hardened with tensile strength up to 1100 MPa and yield strength of approximately 790 MPa. It is not magnetic, having good fatigue strength, corrosion resistance (particularly for saltwater and sour gas), as well as high strength when sub-zero. Monel K500 features exceptional dimensional stability and wear resistance, which suit high-stress applications. It has weldability and formability in coil shape, suitable to be slit into thin strips for precision processing.
