Haynes 230 (22% Cr, 14% W) provides oxidation resistance and tensile strengths of about 540 MPa at 800°C. Cobalt-containing Haynes alloys retain strength and corrosion resistance up to 1000°C. The alloys also resist carburization, fatigue, and thermal cycling. They provide welding capability and retain dimensional integrity upon long-term high-temperature service.
