The EN24 sheets and plates are composed of high-quality steel alloys consisting mainly of carbon, chromium, nickel and molybdenum, with other elements such as manganese, silicon providing improved strength and hardness 0.35-0.45% carbon in a typical formulation in, 1.40-1.80 % chromium , and molybdenum 0.20-0.35% Mechanical properties include tensile strength of 850-1000 MPa, yield strength of 600-850 MPa, and elongation of about 12-15%. Known for its high fatigue and shock resistance, EN 24 provides excellent fatigue resistance and durability, making it suitable for heavy duty applications such as gears, shafts and aircraft parts
