Stainless Steel 316Ti is a titanium-stabilized SS 316 material, which consists of predominantly chromium (16–18%), nickel (10–14%), molybdenum (2–3%), and a minor percentage of titanium (around 0.5%). The content of titanium stabilizes it against sensitization under welding conditions as well as high-temperature exposure. SS 316Ti possesses very good mechanical properties, such as high tensile strength, good resistance to creep, and excellent corrosion resistance, especially in acidic and chloride-containing environments.
