**Hastelloy X** (UNS N06002) is a nickel-chromium alloy that consists of **nickel, chromium, iron, molybdenum, and cobalt**, which has **good oxidation resistance, high-temperature strength**, and **stress-corrosion cracking resistance**. It has mechanical strength at temperatures up to **1200°C (2200°F)** and is suitable for oxidizing and neutral environments, and therefore, it is used for high-heat applications.
