Hastelloy B2 (UNS N10665) is a nickel-molybdenum alloy that has superior resistance to hydrochloric acid in all temperatures and concentrations and sulfuric, acetic, and phosphoric acids. It is very resistant to pitting, stress-corrosion cracking, and knife-line and heat-affected zone attacks, especially when welded.
