Inconel is a series of nickel-chromium-based superalloys having outstanding strength and oxidation resistance at high temperatures. Vipul supplies different grades such as Inconel 600, 625, 718, and 825 applied in aerospace, marine, chemical processing, and nuclear applications. They supply these plates and sheets in annealed, hot-rolled, or cold-rolled finishes. With greater strength-to-weight proportions and metallurgical stability, Vipul‘s Inconel products exhibit unmatched performance in the most severe and high-stress industrial uses.
Inconel alloys consist of 50–72% nickel, 14–23% chromium, with molybdenum, iron, cobalt, niobium, and titanium additions. Tensile strength varies between 690 to 1250 MPa based on grade and condition. Inconel has mechanical integrity up to a temperature of 1000°C and exhibits superior resistance to oxidation, carburization, and chloride-induced stress corrosion. These alloys are weldable and non-magnetic with good creep strength. Inconel 625 and 718 are precipitation-hardened for greater strength, and Inconel 600/800 provide thermal and corrosion resistance.
