SA537 Class 1 Boiler Sheets and Plates are made from carbon-manganese-silicon steel and are heat-treated to boost their strength and impact resistance. The typical chemical makeup includes carbon (≤0.24%), manganese (1.10–1.60%), phosphorus (≤0.035%), sulfur (≤0.035%), and silicon (0.15–0.50%). These plates showcase excellent mechanical properties, featuring a minimum yield strength of 345 MPa and a tensile strength ranging from 485 to 620 MPa.
