The typical composition includes around 15-20% chromium, 5-10% nickel, and up to 2% nitrogen, enhancing their strength, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance. Mechanically, Nitronic alloys exhibit excellent tensile strength (up to 100 ksi), high yield strength, and superior resistance to fatigue and creep. These properties make them ideal for high-stress, corrosive environments, including aerospace, marine, and industrial applications.
