Monel Foils consist of nickel-copper alloys—most commonly Monel 400 or Monel K500. They have approximately 63% nickel and 30% copper content, along with iron, manganese, and silicon. These foils have tensile strength of 480–620 MPa and yield strength of 170–275 MPa based on the alloy grade. These are mechanically stable at low and high temperatures and possess excellent corrosion resistance in marine and chemical environments. They are ductile and easy to fabricate, making them suitable for thin, accurate applications that demand high performance in corrosive or heat-sensitive applications.
