Vipul Sheets and Plates offers a wide variety of Nimonic Sheets and Plates that are meant to function in harsh heat and stress conditions. Nimonic is a series of nickel-chromium-based superalloys that is titanium and aluminum strengthened and is renowned for good creep resistance, oxidation stability, and heat fatigue strength. Vipul supplies different Nimonic grades (75, 80A, 90, etc.) suitable for gas turbines, jet engines, heat treatment, and nuclear applications. The sheets and plates are produced to demanding aerospace and industrial standards. Vipul assures timely delivery, traceability of the material, and complete conformity with global specifications for critical high-temperature applications.
Typically, Nimonic alloys consist of 70–80% nickel, 15–21% chromium, and minute quantities of titanium, aluminum, cobalt, and carbon. These alloys are precipitation-hardened and have tensile strengths up to 1000 MPa. Operating temperature ranges are normally up to 850–950°C depending on grade. Nimonic plates and sheets have good oxidation and thermal fatigue resistance, appropriate for cyclic high-temperature application. They retain structural integrity under severe mechanical and thermal stresses. These materials can be formed, welded (with caution), and machined with suitable tooling and heat treatment.
